You can request a circumcision appointment now for yourself or for your son.
You do not need a referral from your family physician. Please contact Gentle Procedures NB directly for an appointment, or go ahead and register online today. We will call you back to schedule your appointment.
Preparing for the Procedure
We will speak with you to confirm on how to prepare for the circumcision. For infants we recommend feeding your son before coming in for the procedure, and bringing along extra diapers.
We will also have you give him Tylenol before leaving home. This will be reviewed with you in detail, and you can read more about the steps before your boy’s circumcision on the Infant Circumcision page.
For adult and older boy procedures we will generally offer a consultation to review what to expect and ensure that you make a well informed decision.
The cost of circumcision is not covered by New Brunswick Medicare and is paid privately. We serve families from N.B. as well as all other provinces and the fee is the same for all. No medical referral is necessary, and you can contact us today with questions or to schedule a procedure.
Families come to our Fredericton clinic from Moncton, Saint John, Miramichi, and all over the province.
